The Middleton family started ranching here in 1963. Ben and Pauline grew up in local ranch families and have a daughter, Pam, son-in-law, Ron Haar, and a son, Kelly to carry on the ranch business. Pam and Kelly are graduates fro the Agriculture College at Oklahoma State University. Ron is a professional welder and experienced hunter. He helps out on the ranch as well. Kyle, Ron's son, also enjoys the ranch when he finds time from his college work.
Kelly manages the Cow Creek Ranch and cattle herd. He also does some heavy equipment work and is involved in motocross riding.
Ron and Pam raise Suffolk sheep, Boer goats, swine, Jack Russell terriers, Manx cats, and some llamas. They produce show animals for youth shows at fairs in 4H or FFA. They also provide sheep and facilities for 'mutton bustin' at fairs and rodeos.
Ben and Pauline are still active on the ranch and enjoy some winter travel. They have a time share in Cancun. It is for rent if anyone likes golfing and great weather in the winter.
