Deer Forks Ranch is a scenic working cattle, sheep and horse ranch located in the relatively undiscovered part of Wyoming near the Medicine Bow National Forest. Up to 6 guests at a time can share the relaxed lifestyle country folks take for granted. The Middletons raise registered Paint and Quarter Horses to use on the ranch and for their guest operation. Most are for sale. This ranch is where guests can go on guided horseback rides. llama treks and spend time with the hosts and their numerous animals. The rustic log guesthouse offers amenities found in motels with the bonus of an equipped kitchen with microwaves and outdoor grills. Guests provide their own food and housekeeping duties. A variety of reading materials, games and videos are available. A high speed internet connection is on the premises. Children are welcome. There are plenty of places to explore and friendly animals to get acquainted with. The Wyoming State Pioneer Museum in Douglas and Ft. Fetterman, Ayres Natural Bridge, and Ft. Laramie are enjoyable day trips from the ranch. Ask about Ron's outdoor cookouts, tipi stays and winter wildlife viewing by advance arrangement.
